could come with me this year. It was the best year yet.

Even though we went to the show with my whole family me & Tav sat

by ourselves because you can't buy more than 8 tickets at a time.

We were the two who had to/ got to (whichever way you look at it.) be alone.

The Story of Amie Horse

Amie Leigh Oliverson came from the same egg as Alex Marie Oliverson. They are twins. When they were wee little things Alex had the nickname of Ali Cat, as most girls with a similar name do. Amie was confused... Why did Ali have a cool nickname and she had nothing? Amie was on a mission to find the answer to that question. Momma Lisa said that it is because Ali's favorite animal was a cat. So at that, I, Amie Oliverson, gave myself the nickname Amie Horse. Because that was my favorite animal. Such is the reason for the beautiful picture at the top of this page. I think I might have Tav do his magic on a picture of me and a horse and see what I would actually look like as a horse. I am sure I will be quite a beaut.

Independence Day.

Happy Fourth of July all of you millions of people that read my very boring blog. I am just not that into it. It's too time consuming when I am too busy loving my country. Or just life.. or just Tav. But really, I do love this country and am very thankful to live on this FREE land. God Bless the U.S.A.! 

sad/hard news

Friday we were on our way home from California and I was so excited to get home and show my family the ring, but it was a hard day. Chelsi Petersen, one of my best friends through my growing up years, died in a car accident early that morning. I was kind of quiet and sad all day. I was so excited to be engaged and to see my family after a whole week (the longest I've ever gone without seeing them) but right beneath that my heart was aching. So it was an odd day. I am so thankful for the knowledge that her family can see her again, and so can I . My prayers are with her family, they need it very much. That would be one of the hardest things to ever have to do. I am so thankful for the sweet memories I have of Chelsi, they will be with me always. And she will always have a very special place in my heart. 

good news.

welll...... I am engaged! we are getting married in September and we are so excited. We went on a vacation with Tav's fam in Cali and that is where it all happened. On lifeguard tower 26 in Carlsbad. Tav picked out my ring and I love it. he is a smarty farty. So we got home on Friday night and my mom and dad had a little engagement party that night with both of our families.. It was lovely. I have the best parents imaginable and I am going to have the best in-laws. The End.
